CHRISTMAS DRAW The Christmas Draw tickets are now on sale. Please continue to sell as many as you can. CHRISTMAS FAIR-CAKE STALL Bakers please start cooking – cakes and biscuits; scones, savouries e.g. sausage rolls, jams and don’t forget Father’s favourite – lots of mince pies! CHURCH CLEANERS please collect your new rota from the main table. CHILDRENS LITURGY are in desperate need of more leaders and helpers. Please do consider helping to enable this very important ministry to continue for our children. Would helpers please contact their leader to advise if you are happy to continue. SPIRIT OF POLAND The auction painting for CAFOD is completed. Bidding will close at midnight tonight.. THE C.W.L. will meet on Tuesday 14th October in church at 1.15pm. Please collect your minutes from the main table. Refreshments: Emma and Brigid. Raffle: Terry THE CONFIRMATION FOLLOW UP session is on Thursday 16th October in the Hall at 8.00pm. CaFE continues its 2nd session with Fr Corapi at 8.00pm on Friday 17th October in the Hall. Come and join him! SIGNED MASS The Diocesan Deaf Service is celebrating a Signed Mass at the Church of Our Saviour, Ashton Place, Chelmer Village on Sunday 19th October at 12 noon. For more information ?020 8504 0406. COLLABORATIVE MINISTRY for anyone interested in making a difference. This is from Saturday 18th - Monday 20th October. Individual days or whole course can be attended. Cost £40 per day. DINNER AND DANCE and disco, 7.00pm-1.00am, in aid of HCPT on Saturday 8th November at the Essex Golf and Country Club. Grand raffle and fabulous auction. tickets £30 per head. About 30 letters appealng for donations have been sent to local businesses, So far we have received £10 from Colchester Co-Op, £100 from G Collins, Funeral Directors, and £1000 from Marsh UK. We have also received generous donations from parishoners, including £100 from our Guides and Brownies. Also, £1000 from an anonymous source.
